Default Fuel Injection service necessary?

I have a 2011 Pilot exl 4wd with 35,000 mileage and live in central Fl
got a call from the dealer suggesting I have the car serviced to have the fuel injection system cleaned. they say it should be done once per year.
Anyone have any experience with this. Interesting they haven't recommended this before this. I'm suspicious this is just to drum up
service business.

Buy gas at a "top tier" station and you should be getting sufficient detergent to keep your fuel system clean:
Top Tier Gasoline
Top Tier Gasoline

Otherwise, you can add a container of Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus to your last tank of gas prior to an oil change.

It's an unnecessary service.

Like posted previously, just use fuel injection cleaner in a bottle if you really feel the need to. Don't waste your money at the dealer.

I've put hundreds of thousands of miles on my cars over the years and never used anything more than a bottle of Techron every now and then.

Just for giggles you might want to ask the dealer on what page in the owners manual is this service is recommend.
