Our '05 was making a kind of clicking noise when the a/c was on but not all of the time. I pulled the serpentine belt and saw that the bottom pulley on the tensioner assembly was kind of sloppy. I would like to replace both of the pulleys at the same time. Where is the best online source and are the bolts holding them on a standard cut thread and not reverse threaded or anything funny. Thanks.

Standard threads (not reverse).
I like to look up parts on HondaPartsNow.com. You can search by year/model/trim, or your specific vin number. Once I have the part numbers written down, I usually order from G1Parts.com. Their prices are sometimes a little more than HondaPartsNow, but you get free shipping on orders over $20. Only problem is they don't sell fluids, supplies & tools like Hondapartsnow does. Also G1 doesn't sell older honda parts (91 or older). Another good website is Hondapartsdeals.com. They have a coupon code for $10 off (honda-tech10), but they also charge a $5 handling fee. It kinda depends on what I'm ordering and how much I'm spending as to which place I use. All places are Honda dealerships so your only gonna get OEM parts in original Honda packaging. If you need Acura parts, go with AcuraPartsWarehouse.com to look up part numbers. Then I like to order from AcuraOfPeoria on ebay. They are super fast to me cause they are out of AZ (I'm in NV). |
