If you haven't it might end up looking like mine. I bought this 2006 Pilot used just this month, and I've been going over it each night to track down any issues or problems and resolve them.
Since I have had vehicles with an in-cabin air filter, I knew this was something that needed to be replaced. Little did I know, this was not high priority for the previous owners. I knew I was in bad shape when I saw the plastic bar was still there. The condition of the original filter, after 4 years of use, shocked me. |

Actually, while it's good that you've changed the filter, the stock filter is not as dirty as you might think.
The OEM filter is an active carbon filter that looks like this when new: ![]() So compared to non-OEM replacement white paper filters from the Honda dealer and other auto parts stores, it certainly looks awful. The best replacement I've found is here, which gives you great particle filtration and some amount of odor blocking as well. And it's about the same price as the ones at Advancezoneriley. |

That light is supposed to stay on when the headlights are on. It's off when the headlights are off. Perhaps you inadvertently "fixed" the light when you were in there.
