Default 2008 Pilot, Where is the transmission fluid drain bolt?

For the life of me, I can not locate the transmission fluid drain bolt. (Found the Transfer case fill and drain bolts.) Does anyone have a picture?

I did a quick search as I knew this was covered elsewhere and found this thread.

Work down the thread and you'll find the information you are seeking.

Changed Transmission Fluid. Piece of Cake!

Change "hondapilot" to "piloteers."

That's the thread I got too, but it doesn't help the OP, because there is not a photo of the atf drain bolt in that thread.

How so? IIRC the engine and tranny didn't change.

The bolt on the 2008 is "behind" the air intake hose coming from the filter into the engine if you're standing in front of the car. Stand on the driver side of the car close to the firewall. Look at the brake fluid reservoir, then look just a bit "up" from there towards the engine. You'll see the bolt about 1 foot down from there. Really easy to get to.

Thanks...will check it out..Is is a "bolt" or is it recessed requiring a ratchet (like the drain for the differential)?

It's a bolt with a head. Get a long extension and probably a 15mm socket but I'm just guessing.
