Question Timing Belt/WP Parts List for 2003 Pilot

Can anyone advise what the parts list (including part#) is to do the timing belt/serpentine belt/water pump maintenance on a 2003 Pilot?

Greatly appreciated in advance.

Boy, I guess no one likes to do a search in the maintenance forum, otherwise they would have found this thread instead of starting a new one.

DIY (J35A4) timing belt replacement

Ah, I saw that, but there is no mention of a water pump and or gaskets required for it. So unless someone wanted to compliment that thread or high jack with more questions I was looking for a thorough concise part list unless I am mistaken?

This is one of those things that depends on the person recommending the service. Let me explain.

When selling one of these, I always recommend the cam seals. They're only about $4 each, and easy to install once you're in there. The other thing is the timing belt hydraulic tensioner. In practice at the dealership, I've seen these go bad about 50% of the time......they can leak. I always tell people when buying, that it's up to them if they want to replace it, but I recommend that they buy it, and if they don't need it, I'll gladly give them a full refund. Better to have it and not need it than the other way around, once the job is torn apart.

And out of those that have bought it, I've never had a return on it.

That said, I'd recommend:

Timing belt - 14400-P8A-A02
Water pump (comes with gasket) - 19200-P8A-A02
Serpentine beltS - P/S - 56992-P8A-A01, ALT/AC - 38920-P8F-A02
Cam seals - 91213-R70-A02 (qty 2)
Hydraulic tensioner - 14520-P8E-A01

Some people replace the thermostat too. Not necessary, but of course you can if you like. Another part of a 105K service is a valve adjustment, and for that you need to remove the camshaft covers. I've never seen an instance where the gaskets weren't reusable, so I don't push those. Spark plugs are also recommended at that time, but since it really doesn't save you any time or work doing it at the same time as the rest, this is optional at this point as well (but really recommended if it hasn't been done yet).

In any event:

Thermostat (with gasket) - 19201-P8E-A10
Spark Plugs - 98079-5514N

Hope that helps!
