Default Timing Belt/Water Pump OEM vs Aftermarket

I am getting prepared to replace my timing belt and water pump and are starting to collect the parts I will need, 2003 Pilot. Advance Autoparts had a great deal, spend $100 and get a $50 off $50 or more for a future order. I decided to go ahead and buy the belt, a beck/arnley belt (best one they had) and a ASC water pump. I am on the fence as to whether I should return and go with OEM parts for these or should they be just as good. Any experiences or comments would be appreciated.

I had an aftermarket timing belt break on my '91 Prelude after only 95,000 km (60,000miles). Might just have been bad luck, but OEM for me on the belt from now on.
