Without looking I bet the egr ports can be cleaned following the DIY in the mdx forums. Probably just unbolt the head and use a cleaner spray.

I will be adjusting the valves on my 2004 in the next few weeks and will take photos for a DIY post... (unless someone has done it already).

How many miles on your car? Its something I'll have replaced when the timing belt gets replaced. Everything has to come off the engine then anyway....

"Re-enlisted" as in the US Armed Forces? Thank you for your service, as well as your offer to post additional DIY projects.

Default fuses

How about a DIY on how to get to the fuses behind the panel where the jack is stowed.

I now have a used 06 that I got after my wife totalled my 04. I trailer quite a bit and every now and then need to replace the fuse for my trailer lights. The dealer charges approx. $125 for a $2.00 part including install.

I know I could do it myself, but am afraid to pull on things and mess up any clips, then not be able to get it back together properly.

Thanks,

John

I didn't realize there were fuses back there.

When I installed a hitch and wiring on my '07, the only fuse I needed to touch was under the hood - the OEM wiring directions require a fuse to be installed in the fuse box there.

There's nothing in the back AFAIK.
