Default Is rear shock covered by extended warranty?

Just bring the 06 pilot to dealership for oil & filter changed. The maintenance minder shows B12. And the service advisor ask me if I would add the coolant changed, ps fluid changed, brake fluid changed, transfluid changed, cabin filter but I said no. After 30 mins advisor came back to me that rear shock has a leak and cost to me $372. And I ask him if its covered by warranty and he said you are out of warranty and I said I have an extended warranty and he said its not covered. Sounds hmmm...So is it true that it was not covered by the honda extended warranty I have 80k/8yr extended warranty.

Do I need to changed coolant, PS fluid?

...I had the time to rotate tires today and checked the rear shock but I don't see any visible oil that is leaking the shock. But I'm not sure I don't really look inside the plastic one( the one cover half length of the shock) only below on that and don't see any traces. Also called honda care and they said that it is covered.... good news.

I'm inclined to think so since it's a wear and tear part just like tires and brake pads. But no don't pay $372. New shocks are about $50 I believe and you can easily do it yourself on the weekend.

Coolant change at 120k miles. Not sure about power steering fluid.
