Default Timing Belt Question...

Service manual shows to use a battery securing bolt to hold the timing belt adjuster when removing the timing belt...

Does this matter if I am replacing the adjuster anyway?

No it does not matter if you are replacing the tensioner. Remeber to replace the bearing as well along with the w/p while you are there. The hardest part of this job is breaking loose the pully bolt!
