Resubmitting question under correct category.
Need advice about replacing engine filter for my 2006 Pilot. I have the 4 bolts removed and can lift-up the air cleaner cover, but not enough to access/remove the air filter. The air-flow-tube connected between the air cleaner cover and engine block is limiting me from lifting the cover further to access/remove the filter. Do I need to remove the air-flow-tube clamp or spring to be able to lift the cover and get to the filter? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks. |

I have the 08 Pilot. After loosen all 4 screws I managed to lift the cover high enough that I can lift the old filter up and slided it out side way. Install the new one in the same manner, slide it in then make it sit in.
