Default headlights

We have a 2005 pilot. How do you adjust the headlights to the proper angle?

Normal procedure is to put the vehicle 25ft away from a wall with the lights shining on it. Then you have to compare the beams pattern on the wall.

Driver side should be lower than passenger side.

There is a place on each headlight, usually at the top inside the engine comparment where you can put a large phillips in and turn to raise or lower the assembly.

I think it is in the owners manual.

There were a few threads a while back you might be able to find with a search.

Don't set them too high because any weight in the back will put them into peoples eyes.

Are the adjusters on our headlights made of plastic? If so remember to shoot a wd-40 or silicone spray before hand.

I just adjusted mine a few weeks ago.
A socket will do the job.(sorry, don't remember what size was it.)
Passenger side is a piece of cake,no biggie.
But for driver's side,u may need to remove the electrical connector & rubber weather seal
to gain a little more room if u need to adjust
the light Up or down.
