(diy)-throttle Cleaning?? -installed Mesh Grille Too!
Does anyone clean their Pilot throttle body? I am planning on cleaning my Wifes 03 Pilot this Friday. Is it easy? Is it same as a Civic or Integra throttle or its different? I haven't clean the throttle body ever since. I have the Honda Throttle cleaner spray ready.
Any advice or pointers! Please fill free..  I also installed an alum. grille mesh. Here is pic.. I didnt have enough to cover the entire grille on this first one. I still have one more extra mesh..

Spray it matt black and it will be even better.
Are you getting any code from the car suggesting it needs cleaning? Re cleaning: If you aren't getting a code, leave it alone.

SEAFOAM!
I just bought (2) container SEAFOAM in Mechaniscville, VA. $8.67 eac. I will try it on my 94 Civic, Let see what it will do. I just clean the trottle body recently on my Civic, I hope there will be white smoke comes. Cause I had a few white smoke come out when I clean the Throttle body last time, June 2009. Then I will try it next to the PILOT.
