Default engine mount dead at 45K miles

Well, took the Pilot to a mechanic friend of my father. Needed to have the tranny fluid changed along with the VTM-4 fluid and both front and rear brake pads changed, the rotors were also turned. Also had the brake fluid flushed and filled.

Dropped it off yesterday to have that all done, didn't have the time to do all of that myself otherwise I would have. Got a call later in the afternoon from the mechanic telling me one of the engine mounts was toast, had a feeling one was going bad. Been getting a rumbling sound for the past few thousand miles. I thought it was the crappy GY Integrity tires going to hell, although they will need to go in a few thousand miles.

Got the Pilot back today and it drives like a new car, drives and sounds like the first day I drove it off the $tealer's lot. It was worth the $400 I paid for everything.

Sorry, I haven't been on here in a while. Was it ever determined if the 70MPH vibration was caused by a bad engine mount?

Also, how much did the mount itself cost? Got any pics?

Not sure if the vibration was caused by the motor mount, but it my case it definitely didn't cause it. I just had a rumbling noise going over bumps, potholes etc.

IIRC the mount ran about $120, probably cheaper if I got it online, but anyhoo, very happy everything got taken care of. Sorry, no pics, but from what I've gathered online here, it usually has fluid leaking from it when it's busted.

These photos keep popping up. The Pilot radiator side motor mount does NOT look like this, nor does it fail like this.

The Pilot mount fails (at least all the ones that I seen in reports and personal experience) by tearing at the top.
