Question Need Torque settings!

Doing rear brake job on my 2005 Pilot this weekend. Does anyone know the torque settings for the rear calipers? Are they the same as the fronts? I am having trouble finding a DIY write up for the rears but just really need those torque settings!

Thanks all...

Mike

Wink diy brake job

howdy,
I too was looking for torque specs.
have a look at the General> maintenance> DIY brake job.
the 4th page has torque values. The caliper brackets on the back are very similar to the ones on the front.
I was given some values:
cal brkt 79.6 ft lbs
cal flange blt 27ft lbs.

I was too late in changing the front pads. I'm presuming that one end of the brake pads was dragging because of uneven wear. Almost like a wedge shape. The warning bar had just begun to touch and sound it's warning of low pads when the metal at the other end of the pad started a groove in the disc. Fortunately, it wasn't too deep to have the disc turned.
The hardest part will be getting the screw off that holds the disc to the hub!! I destroyed all 4 screws. Perhaps an impact screw driver may have helped.
Best of luck,
GFB

No, the backs cal brkt are different from front. I remember it's 41 ft.bl. I will check with my shop manual and post back. The flanges' torque is same at 27 ft.bl.

My feeble brain says they are the same torque specification, but I am traveling and can not check the manual.

Checked shop manual. Front 79.6 ft.bl and rear 41 ft.bl for the Cal brkt. Both flanges at 27 ft.bl.
