I cant believe how difficult Honda engineers made it to properly change out a headlight bulb. For those of you who dont know, its simple enough changing the bulb, but theres one little problem. Theres a little clip that you must remove around the rubber assembly, which holds the bulb firmly in place. Putting it back in with the new bulb is extremely frustrating. Anyone else had this problem?

Try it on a Volvo. The space is so tight, that it took me over an hour the first time and to do the turn signal, I had to drop the bumper.

You're b i t c h i n g about that???? All you have to do is to undo the clip and take the bulb out. My dad's light blew out on his '98 LS400, I had to take out the damned battery to remove one of the bulbs to get it replaced!
And on the other side, I had to remove part of the air intake to remove that bulb!!!! I seriously don't know what the OP has to complain about.

1) Disconnect the electrical connector. 2) Pull off the rubber o-ring weatherseal. 3) Disengage the retaining clip. 4) Remove the bulb. Reverse the above operations to install the replacement bulb. If you don't have the owner's manual, look at pages 317 and 318 here: [2003 Honda Pilot Owner's Manual] |
