Default 03 Rear Light Assembly internal spherical or cone shape fell off.

Guys,
I have a problem with my right rear light assembly internal spherical or cone shape reflector. It's this internal shape that covers the "STOP/TAIL LIGHT" and it's this same cover that fell off and dangling inside the whole light assembly.

When i was at it in the condition which it's shows that, the two clip areas where this cover isolated from is very visible.

The question i wanted to ask now is that, how can i remove the entire right rear assembly and open the main single cover and clip back the LOWER COVER for the stop light bulb to be at the correct position?

I need your technical advise guys.

Thank you.

'Fred

I can't directly address your question, but Honda issued a Technical Service Bulletin on his problem. Maybe a dealer will be able to do a goodwill fix at no charge to you.

Jay,
Thanks for your response. I have open the attached thread and the problem i have is the lower reflector inside the antire assembly that got loose and dangling inside the assembly. I will surely follow the instruction on the attached thread and see how possible it's whether i can be able to fix the reflector back to is position.

I post the feedback if successful.

I posted this same question, on another forum awhile back, but didn't get much response(see link below). They agreed with me that the taillight is a sealed assy. and there isn't much you can do about this besides replace the whole assy. I tried a few things w/needle nose pliers, superglue, wire, curse words...but none of them worked. I ended up replacing booth taillights with an aftermarket set (I like the look of the 06 lights better).

I didn't know about the TSB till this post yesterday. If I were you I would print out the attachment, take it to the dealer and see if they will replace as a goodwill fix. I'm thinking about putting my old taillights on and seeing if they will do that for me.
