Default Tps

Hello Everyone,

Had something happen with my Pilot this morning and wanted to share and get opinions.

Well I crank the car and the TPS system comes on for the first time in 3+ years and tells me that all 4 tires are low on pressure.

I use the Michelin all weather tires and normally have about 32 lbs pressure.

Anyway I checked one of the tires and the pressure was 26, so I stopped at a gas station and sure enough all of the tires were about 26. We had a chilly night here in Reno last night and I suspect what probaly happened is the tires may have been around 30 and the cold snap dropped every one of them to 26.

Anyway I added enough air to get them all to about 31 and the system turned off and I went on my way.

I originally was concerned that maybe a local varmint was simply delfating tires on cars and got mine, but the more I thought of it maybe not.

Anyway to me it is simply amazing the system was quite for so long and then worked like a charm.

Thoughts?

Default TPS System

Good question.

I didn`t notice at all.

Without the system I would not have known.

The tires really didn`t look that low.
