Default Is it normal?

Usually of the other cars, when the tank is about empty, the light goes on then off for awhile then stays on untill fill gas. But my Pilot skips step on/off. When it's on, it stays on till I fill the gas.

that is normal. it also means you should fill up asap. i used to ride that light for a while in my other cars, but with the pilot, i think it means that there is less than 2 or 3 gallons in the tank, which won't get you far. i've come close to running out of gas several times

The light goes on around 3 gallons left. Once it goes on it stays on until you fill up or shut off the car (sometimes if it went on early)

It will go on early with hard corners, starts and stops.
