Default Spark Plugs, Motor Mounts, Timing belt

So I am a pretty much DIY guy with the only exception being anything electrical and brake jobs. <--The last thing I want is the big 3k lbs juggernaut not stopping.

So I have to do the Spark plugs on my Pilot 05 What brand is recommended and what gap size?
For the motor mounts do I have to buy the front and side ones from the stealership?

Also how easy would it be to change the timing belt on it??

Thanks in Advance
Cheers
OY

The Honda OEM Plugs are NGK PZFR5F-11. Honda will charge you between $13 and $17 each, but you can get them at most local autoparts stores (parts america, autozone, advance auto parts) for around $10 each. You do not need to set the gap in them.

I would make sure that the motor mount is genuine honda... I wouldn't trust any aftermarket part like that. Check out some of the online places for ordering honda parts like hondapartsdeals.com or slhondaparts.com. If you order your timing belt parts and the motor mount through them, and include the shipping and handling, it is way cheaper than buying from the local dealer.

If you are going to to the timing belt, you need three very important items:

1: The Helms service manual. NOT haynes or chiltons. The helms is the OEM manual and takes you step by step exactly what to do.

2: The hex tool to hold the crankshaft pulley while you take the crankshaft bolt out.

3: A full socket set with universal joints and lots of extensions. you will need them.

While you are in there, definitely change the water pump and do the idler pulleys if you are so inclined.

Good luck.

Willing to change motor mounts and timing belts, but not do brakes? Not grokking the reasoning there.
