I have read a couple of posts concerning a user serviceable automatic transmission filter. I have two questions:
1) Does such a filter exist on the 2006 LX 2WD 2) Has anyone ever replaced this filter? (Any year model) I appreciate your replies to these questions. |

I also do this on all my vehicles for the power steering. There are several makers of inline transmission fluid filters, I got mine at Carquest. The one I get also has a strong magnet to take out particles. I've also taken them apart to see the results. The big surprise is in the power steering; lots of debris removed on them.
