Default routine maintenance ?'s

Couple simple questions...

Do all the Pilots come with the maintenance minder system that the Accords have?

How is the access to the oil filter? (actually, it may not matter much if I can fit under the thing without lifting it off the ground).

Only Pilots 2006+ had the MM's. The filter is easy to get to, just turn the wheel all the way to the right and it's right next to the passenger wheel, can't miss it.

nice, I hate putting a vehicle into the air to do anything to it (thats one reason I love my truck, I can do most things with all four on the floor) and it's one reason why I wont complain that we're thinking SUV next (I'll be keeping the accord as a commuter since I drive way more than she does anyway and then I wont have to worry about breaking my truck wheeling it)

I think you'll still need to jack up the front a bit to get to the oil drain bolt, at least that's what I do, not a big hassle in my book though. Like you, I do most of my maintenance on my Taco PreRunner, very easy to change the oil without jacking it up.

I use ramps. Getting under to change the oil gives me a chance to give the lower half of the engine a once-over, and inspect CV boots and suspension components. It's no hassle to drive the 3 feet to get it on the ramps.

it's not the hassle of moving it or putting it on jackstands, ramps, whatever, just easier if I can fit under without lifting it off the ground. can still see the underside as long as I fit.

I do oil/filter changes without lifting the car. It would be slightly easier with the car higher, but IMHO, it's not necessary at all.
