2004 Pilot. How do you release the auto tensioner to replace the serpentine belt that is on the A/C and alternator? I cannot find flats for a wrench or a 3/8 square hole for a ratchet?

I just replaced my belts... I "rented" a serpentine belt wrench from Advance Auto Parts which worked fine. The wrench was just thin enough to get on the auto tensioner bolt and long enough to provide enough torque for the job.
Advance Auto Parts makes you put a purchase deposit on the tool and they refund your money when you return it. The tool I rented looked like it was brand new! Good luck. |

I was having a little problem until I brainstormed with an open-ended wrench. Slipped a breaker bar over the wrench and sha-zam.
