Default 2006 Pilot maintenance minder code

I have a 2006 front-wheel drive EXL. The maintenance minder code 6 came on this week. Manual says code 6 is to replace VTM-4 rear differential fluid. This should not apply to a front-wheel drive. Am I missing something? Has anyone experienced code 6 on the front-wheel drive?

Just disregard the VTM change, I believe the same system is used in 2WD and AWD, so the light still comes up even though it does not apply.

There are other 2WD owners that have had the same indicator pop up.

Is this just another way for the dealership to make money?

Man, I'd like to see them try to bill a FWD owner for a VTM change. It would be fun to start discussing the fake billing in the middle of the show room floor on a busy day.
