Question 10K mi Service - Something doesn't look right

Took Pilot in for 10,000 mile service yesterday, and now I'm not sure they did the right stuff. Help me out here if you can ...

MM says due for B16. As many of you probably know:

B = lube, oil, filter change; emerg brake adjustment; check brakes; check/top all fluids; inspect various items

1 = tire rotation

6 = change VTM-4 rear differential fluid

Invoice says:
Labor (84.00)
Minor Svc (no charge)
Washer, D (0.32)
Eng Serv (20.07)
Cleaner (3.83)
Filter (7.73)
Wash Flui (2.25)
Automatic Trans Fluid (11.05)

To me, this looks like they did not do the tire rotation nor the VTM-4 fluid change. I don't even see a charge here for the oil, unless the Eng Serv represents the entire change service including oil. I'm also puzzled by the tranny fluid reference.

Any thoughts?

sounds like they just did a 3.7qt swap of your trans fluid, but stated VTM fluid change? VTM fluid change would be much more expensive, Honda trans fluid is about 3-4 bucks a qrt so that might make sense, at least to figure out what they really did. I think you may have to call the service manager and ask what was really done and why.

They didn't say anything about the VTM-4 change at all - when I dropped it off nor when I picked it up. I told them MM said it required B16 and to do whatever the maintenance minder required. They said the service would be about $130 plus tax, and I said that's fine and left it there for the afternoon. I then picked it up at the end of the day, scanned to see the price was as quoted - assumed when it was the right amount that meant they did the right service. I then reviewed the invoice closer last night at home and found the confusion I referenced above.

There does not appear to be any reference to the VTM-4 service on the invoice - but instead something about tranny fluid. MM said to change VTM-4 but there was no indication that trans fluid needed to be changed, at least according to maintenance minder, and I can't imagine it would have needed to be changed due to use - manual says every 30,000 miles for hard driving conditions (and my wife only drives it back & forth to work in easy driving conditions). Maybe someone entered the wrong code and generated tranny fluid on bill instead of VTM-4? Then again, if that service is more expensive, then the labor charge probably should have been higher, right?

Looks like I will need to stop back in there for a complete explanation of what was done and why.

Thinking I was concerned that they had done the VTM-4 change too soon, he indicated it is typically done at 15,000 and sometimes does not appear on MM until 18,000 but that can be too late - citing examples of vehicles that came in making noises. When I said "But mine only has 10,000, and it already came up. So, I was expecting you to do it but you didn't." He said it would be OK to wait until 15,000, and he's not sure why it came up so soon given the light nature of use.

For the trans fluid reference, that was purely a typo - that was supposed to be a charge for the oil and the tech entered the wrong code #. Oil would have only been like $1 cheaper - so I told him not to worry about the difference. In return, he said they will do the next oil change free due to the inconvenience and confusion. Works for me - will help offset the cost of the VTM-4 change next time around.

Glad to hear you like the Mets - a little surprised though, given there are what - 4 teams in Cali (Giants, As, Angels, & Dodgers ... did I miss any?). Are you near LA? Saw parts of a pretty good documentary regarding the Brooklyn Dodgers on HBO last night, including their move to LA.
