Does the 2006/2007 Pilot have a different transmission from prior years? If so what is different?

What is the ATF change interval for pilots 2006 and newer?

The Pilot started with the original 2001/2002 MDX tranny which had a high failure rate in the MDX but not in the Pilot. Honda designed a new tranny that was put into the MDX in 2003 and the MDX went from a well below average tranny reliability rating to a well above average rating according to CR. That redesigned tranny was incorporated into the Pilot in 2006.
