For those who want a perfect tool to add transmission fluid through the dipstick hole, try a turkey baster from Walmart for $1.49.
The one I got comes packaged with a small brush. I took the rubber "bulb" off the turkey baster. My standard ATF funnel (for all my other cars) fits snugly inside the turkey baster top and the turkey baster tip fits perfectly inside the dipstick tube. Then, I can use my standard funnel just like any other car -- it just pours a little bit slower, but no spills. I think this beats taking the fill-plug out for adding a minor amount of fluid. Here's what my funnel looks like without the turkey baster adapter: http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...rtnumber=31117 |

Thanks for posting this tip. I used it on my Pilot and the baster worked like a charm!

Along with my tools, digital multimeter, and OBD-II scan-tool, will be this turkey baster adapter. It works like it was designed for this purpose. |
