Question 15,000 mile maintenance

HI All,

Any thoughts on the 15,000 mile maintenance job on my 05'Pilot. I am wondering what will be down if I bring it to the Honda dealer.

Any estimate figures will help, hope they don't charge a arm an a leg for this.

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

DO NOT go by any service package.

Look at what the owners manual says you should do, Point-by-point, and then discuss it with the dealer, Point-by-point!

Why can't we go by the service package, is it not required, Currently my 05' pilot has 15,700 miles on it, an oil change is coming but what else is needed to be service.

Is it worth wild to change the VTM 4 fluid yourself or dealer?

Because you will be overpaying for a bunch of service you don't need.

Transmission Fluid change as well, but that's just me. As finicky as Honda automatic transmissions are, it's cheap insurance to change it every 15k, IMHO.

Using the search function will yield the results you desire. There is a crap load of DIYs located on the forum, you just need to do a search function, that's why it's there.

VTM fluid replacement: http://hondapilot.org/forums/showthr...light=diy+vtm4

tranny fluid: Transmission Fluid
or look in your owner's manual
