60K Front End Work
Took the Pilot in for its 60K maintenance, and asked that they look at the front end due to very vague steering, and a subtle rattle from the right front wheel. Turns out it was a tie rod, and needed replacemet. Made a world of difference, and the car handles as good as new.
FWIW, they said that my Forteras were "hard" tires, and tended to accentuate any flaws in the Pilot, such as an out of alignment front end. Makes no sense. yes, they are pretty grippy, but so what?
Anyway, if your Pilot exhibits the same symptoms, have them check it out. No more shimmy and shake, and rock solid on the highway.
