Default Replacement Shocks?

I believe my Pilot needs shocks, and was wondering if anyone here had info on alternatives to the Honda replacement shocks. The only brand I could find was Monroe.

Not a big fan of Monroe shocks. Personally I like Bilsteins, but indeed it looks like no one is making aftermarket struts for the Pilot.

Last time I bought shocks was about 15 years ago, and they were Monroes. Has their quality slipped? Are they the "Fram" of shocks?

I've had Monroes and bilsteins. Not on my pilot.

Both been good. The Bilsteins are still on my truck, though a little worn now after 75k.

Anyone contacted Bilstein to see if they have a shock for us, but haven't figured it out yet?

Another HUGE endorsement of Bilstein products. Hope they make them for the Pilot. If they do buy the Bilsteins.

I have Bilstein Heavy Duty struts on my Passat. Love the ride quality on these. Better than the OE Sachs struts it came with.

I'm hoping something decent is available in aftermarket by the time my Pilot needs them.
