Default How many miles before brake pad R/R??

I am trying to find out (in average) how long the brake pads last on Pilot.

Please tell me how long before you actually had to do the brake job? It will give me an idea as to what the average life of the Honda brake pads are. It would be a useful info. for everyone?

I know it depends on style of driving and terrain and etc, but just trying to get a general idea.

I've got 52K on it and still on original brake pads.

Consider yourself in the "bonus round". Take a look at them (all four) but don't wait until the wear tabs start scratching the rotors. I've always done disk brakes evey 50-60K mi., but I know people who can't seem to get more than 30K from a set of brakes. I don't ride with those people.

Sold the 2003 with 60k+ miles and it still had the original brakes and tires. I guess my wife drives pretty good (***don't tell her I said that***)

Do you have to do both front and rear brake pads at around 60K miles? I know front-wheel drive cars generally don't need the rear pads done before 100K, but the Pilot isn't a front-wheel only vehicle.
