Please Help!

I'm sorry if this was posted and/or answered before, but my father decided to go ahead and change out the spark plugs on my 04 Pilot, but somehow we can't seem to find them. Anybody know where they're located? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Find them as where he misplaced them or find them as in where they go back? IF its the later... I would recommend having it towed to the dealer because he would not be qualified to perform this maintenance

LOL, neither. We lifted the hood, and can't seem to locate, within the engine bay, where the plugs are.

whoo. ok.. that makes more sense.

There are 3 on the front of the motor and 3 behind, he can take the top cover off the motor and have easy access to them. There is also a model that attaches to the top of each plug that he will need to remove. I can post a shot from the service manual if ya like, once he IDs them its pretty straight froward. Before me gets into it make sure he has the right tools to do this I think the back ones require an angled socket set or something, but Rapid Rob or other known mechanics up here can help with that advice

They are supposed to be good for 100K miles btw..

Im not being smart, but if you dont know where the plugs are, I wouldnt suggest doing that job yourself. Too much can go wrong. Ignition wires on the incorrect plug, nit to mention crossthreading the head socket.
Save yourself a lot of possible grief and leave it to a reputable mechanic IMHO.

I completely understand what you're saying. My father for many years was a diesel mechanic (I know diesel trucks don't have spark plugs) and did a lot of work on all of our family cars. Also, considering this is the first Honda vehicle I purchase (most of the other vehicles we've had are from the GM label), the layout on this Pilot was a bit different than accustomed to. But we figured it out and the replacement was done.

Thanks guys for all of your help, it was greatly appreciated. Now I just need to purchase a service manual for the Pilot for future purposes....
