Default headlight problem

i have an '03 Pilot EXL. the passenger side head light has condensation and sometimes has water actually standing in the bottom of it... my honda dealer said it isnt a warranty.. any ideas? car has 50,000 miles.

Your warranty should cover that I would think, if it hasn't expired yet. Try a different $tealer and get a second opinion on that.

i checked with 2 local dealers, both said the same thing.. and they want 230 freaking dollars for the part...

Do you have extended warranty? Try checking the rubber boot cover in the back of the headlight in question to see if its installed properly.

whats funny is that its been outrageously hot here the last month or so, and it hasnt rained a drop.. and the thing wont dry out.. it just stays wet..

Yea, I got an idea.

Fix it.
Remove bumper (easy), remove h/light. Take the bulb out & rig the hole to pressurize the inside w/compressed air. Make sure that the air going in can get out so you don't damage it w/too much pressure. Spray soapy water all around the outside, paying close attention to the seams. The leak should be visible.
Silly cone is junk, I don't use it. Use a professional body seam sealer. Maybe NAPA has it?
Make sure the bonding area is scraped clean & dry. Maybe use some #80 grit.

Or buy a new one...

does anyone have a link to something that tells you the steps to taking off the bumper? i know i need to take it off to replace the headlight..
