Question was this a good price?

I just paid $260 to change the following.
VTM FLUID
TRANS FLUID
BRAKE FLUID
COOLANT
and they gave me a Enterprise rent a car free.

Just wondering what people have paid for these things.

Why the coolant need to be replace this early? The manual states that the coolant need to be replace at 120,000 miles or 10 years.

That seems competitive, I paid $490.00 to replace vtm-4, transmission fluid, cabin filters, air filter, oil and filter change, plus the 30,000 mile inspections.

Funny u should ask.Sneaky dealers have figured 45% will not read the owners manual(like me).So they will sneak it in till there is a complain from the owner then it is deleted from the bill,by the way only 20% actually check their invoice. My Honda mechanic clued me in on this

By my standards you paid $160 for the rental car. At the same time, you would need to do-it-yourself for $100. You probably got a good deal. I suspect a stealership would have been $400+ depending on where you are located.

I do my own for less than $100. There has been a lot of discussion about fluids and you need to make your own decision.

Crankcase oil is cheap - change it-synthetic will go easly 6000mi
Coolant today mostly is good for the life of the vehicle - change at 80-100K
Brake Fluid - add as needed; it doesn't degrade
Trans Fluid - not unless you need it; cars go 200k without a trans-fluid change; add as needed

I did get it done at my Honda dealer. And yes I agree that doing it myself would be cheaper. But with two boys, and soccer on the weekends. I got no time.

You might want to check on that. Most brake fluid is hydroscopic and absorbs moisture resulting in a decreased boiling point and increased rust.

I would trust honda engineers to know more about the car than any mechanic .... so you should follow their schedule
