Angry 05 Pilot needed new front rotors already

I had my tires rotated at the dealer as part of the 7500 mile service
on my 05 Pilot. Soon after, I noticed a front shimmy/vibration upon
braking. The dealer checked the rotors at 10,000 miles, and found that they were warped!

The front rotors were replaced under warranty. I then loosened and re-torqued each lug nut to ensure that they were tightened to 80 ft-lbs.

I spoke with several people and they said the mechanic may have over-
torqued the lug nuts after the tire rotation. Anyone have any experience in this area?

Thanks,
Dean

Yup, the fastest way to warp rotors is to improperly torque the lug nuts.
