Hi, supposed to go on 8 hour trip Saturday morning and front pads started chirping today (damn). Visual inspection (thru wheel...not w/wheel off) looks like the pads are pretty low. I found some real nice posts about changing the pads including one that had scans from factory repair manual. Was just wondering what people thought of the procedure? Tips, tricks? Looks pretty straightforward. Never did a honda but have done old porsche and an A6. How long do you think it will take? Pads at local parts store look cheap ($30) and I just can't bring myself to pay approx $200 for someone else to put pads on.
TIA, Joe (03 pilot, 28K miles and no prior brake work done) |
