Default Refilling transmission

Have a 2004 Pilot. I installed a tow package with xmission cooler and ps cooler. I notice how hard it was to add fluid to the transmission. Any suggestions on when I go to change fluid? It could take forever the way I am doing it now. Moreover what is up with all this must buy Honda fluids? Everything from differential, transmission and power steering. This stuff is very expensive. Any discount sites?
Thanks

I've been trolling this site for awhile and have come to the conclusion that it does matter what fluids we use. I dunno' how to convince you. All I can say is I wouldn't even think about paying this kind of money for a vehicle then dumping cheap fluids in it. It does matter.
Ya lost me there... You can install a tow package, but are having trouble filling the trans? What's going on, what kind of problems you having. I'll try & help.

Its realy not that expensive, and you don't realy use that much over the life of the vehicle.

By the time you get to 150,000 miles you have used about 16 quarts of transmission fluid, about 5 gal of VTM-4 fluid, and maybe a quart or two of PS fluid.

Pull the plug on the top of the tranny, (about 4 - 5 inches behind the tranny dip stick) and use a funnel with a hose. I wished they used the same setup as the CRV, the dipstick is the fill tube.
