How many miles is left on a tank when the fuel light appears?

You might want to try a search for fuel light. I'm 99% sure your owners manual provides some guidelines as well.

Consensus is you have 3 gallons left.

We never agree on mileage so somewhere between 30 and 75

Thanks so much- Just finished my first tank and was too lazy to read the book- That helps alot- I thought it would be 2 -3 gallons or so!!
