45000 maintenance - Honda Pilot

Got to take the Pilot in for 45000 maintenance. Didn't see past posts on this. What's it going to cost?

The maintenance items are the same as the 15k service for the severe schedule, so I'd guess whatever you paid for that one is what you'll pay for this one.

The 2 most important service at 45,000 are change oil/filter and replace transmission fluid.

I'm going to rotate the tires at Costco and change the air filter and cabin filter myself. Hopefully, that will lower the price of the maintenance.

wwong - Wow...if I remember it correctly, you changed both the air/cabin filter around 30K and just 15K later, both of your filter are filthy. That shows you how dirty the air around Los Angeles and it's vicinity.

We just had the 45K service completed on Tuesday, and WOW what a difference! Our Pilot feels like new again! I think the "tightening of suspension components" item was very effective!!

The front suspension and steering were starting to feel a bit sloppy. Now they feel tight again. We are very pleased.

I say "we" since my wife now drives the Pilot, and I drive the V. We traded in an attempt to reduce the mileage on the Pilot, and add them to the CRV.

2003 Pilot: 42K miles
2003 CRV: 17K miles

We need to balance them out a bit! Anyway, the 45K service was well worth the money!
