Exclamation Maint required dash light

Hi to all,
I noticed that there is a light on the dash panel that stays on for a few seconds whenever i start the Pilot ,i think it's amber and says Maint Reqrd or service reqrd....or something like that.My guess is that this is a reminder for service as in oil change,etc....right ?,i do my own "servicing".I was wondering if the stealer resets this light thing when you go in for service (our BMW has similar service reminder but i choose to ignore it,still do oil changes at around 5000~6000 K's) .
Thank you.
Dac

P.S. Our Pilot is nearing 10.000 K's and it's already on it 3rd oil change (Factory break in drained at 3.700 K's and filled with Mobil 1 OW20 Synthetic (Mobil 1 said it was OK to break in the engine on their oil) and then changed the engine oil again at 4.730 K's (yes i know it was still too soon....but driving around with all the small fillings sloshing around i choose to drain it again..... ) and filled up with Red Line 5W20 .

I'll be nice and let everyone else tell you to do a search on "Maintenance Required Light", and to read the owners manual.

Thumbs up Thank you Sunday Rider

Thanks for the help,i didn't think it was a biggie but having the other car with one of those reminder things (different system....) it does require a special tool/gadget to reset it so i thought Honda may need one of those as well. The BMW dealer charges $ 10 CAD to reset the service lights.... ,but i love Honda "DIY" system, good job Honda .

Again thank you Sunday Rider.

P.S. Sorry N_Jay that i'm asking a question that's probably been asked before,i'll try to remember next time, hey you may even try to help instead of ....oh never mind.

Don't worry I was just joking.

I was reading your question, and thinking to myself, "Someone is going to give him the old "RTFM" or "DO A SEARCH" line.
