cabin air element filter - Honda Pilot

The right screw into the dash (8mm if you are looking at the dash while sitting in the pass. seat would not stay in as I was attempting to reinstall the dash after I changed filter. I suppose after fighting with it after a few attempts I made the hole bigger. To remedy this I had to put a #10-32 nut on the other end of the screw to keep it in place. Is it just me or is there just not enough room to access this screw with the fuse box and wires being in that close proximity?

It is the screw on the side that your photo shows. It is the one that holds the glove box on to the dash.
