Default Fumoto oil valve

I've searched for this, but cant figure out all the details on. I think i need a F-106 w/ two ADL-106 adapters? is this true? and what about the nipple version, some thought it might stick out too far and get a cross member wet? Who has them, and do you like them?

Thanks

You have the correct configuration, I don't have the 1 with a nipple. It does take 2 adapters to clear the recessed oil pan. I have 1 on the Pilot, 1 on my CRV and 1 in the garage to put on my mother's CRV. It makes changing the oil a breeze. Well worth the cost.

I have an '05, so I'll assume nothing on the oil pan has changed.

I'll second that. No more fishing out an oil plug that fell into the pan accidentally and having to replace the sealing washer.

I managed to get the whole thing on with one adaptor.

I put one on our Ody today and it worked well with the adapter.

I am hoping that I can get it on the Pilot at our next oil change using the adapter.

I have heard others say they had to use 2 adapters. I don't really want to go that route.

Last one..........note that the opening spring is up completely out of the way. No way road debris is going to hit it........not that I was concerned about it anyway. This appears to be a pretty sturdy, well built piece.

Note that I had to use an extra Honda crush washer to get the positioning that I wanted on the lever.

I did this oil change yesterday and check it for leaks every time I have driven it and you can see that it looks pretty good underneath so far.

Now if there was a cleaner way to do the oil filter (with less mess).

Also, these photos were taken with the camera flat on the ground underneath the van, so these photos are looking from the floor straight up at the bottom of the oil pan.

I'm confused

How many adaptors do you really need for the Pilot?

One or Two?

I've read a fellow-member's post saying one.

I just want to be sure before placing the order.

Thanks
