Ok,
I know there is a Civic forum, but it seems more mod oriented. Myabe I looked in the wrong place? Anybody know how much ATF the Civic takes (2000 HX). Also, does it have a plug you can just drain it and then fill it? No filter I presume, like the Accord? I'd appreciate the help, mom is coming for thanksgiving and I was going to change her trans fluid on Friday. She's concerned her independent mechanic (who is quite good) can't readily get the Honda fluid, so I was going to do it. Thanks JW

I don't know what the capicity is, they should be able to look it up at a autopart store.
Keep in mind what I did find is that the 2000 HX some models did have a CVT, keep that in mind when looking for fluid to make sure you get the right stuff. You could get it from a part department, and save the money in labor.
