Saw a solution for the EGR valve on a Pilot in the Yukon. This Pilot gets started up in pretty cold weather, short runs with little or no warm up. The owner after many EGR problems installed an Oildex Pre-vent valve and filter.... end of the problems. I know his situation is extreme but the solution was pretty interesting. After seeing it we used it on a couple of stationary gen-sets that start up from dead cold to 100% load in 60 seconds. Might be an overkill, but it's a thought.
