Default Southern CA Get together

I just want to gauge the interest in a lunch, day at the beach, whatever with those in the Southern CA area. kemosabe keeps bragging about their luncheon in DC and I'm getting jealous <==(green with envy)

Sounds great! I'm interested and can make the drive to my old stomping grounds if it's on a long weekend...

If we can schedule something on Oct. 11 (+/- 1 day) it would be perfect timing for us as we will be in Sea World that day.

I would be very interested, but it would have to be on a Sunday. I teach every Saturday.

I can't make a commitment, but, if you guys set it up, I'll do my best to attend...

Looks like there's a lot of response from up north (LA area) so who do you feel about meeting up somewhere in OC like Dana Point? Or how about a BBQ followed by some light off roading? There's got to be a ton of places in Orange County where we can introduce our Pilots to dirt.

We'll have to narrow down the dates and the places. Saturdays are tough for me as I'm busy through November coaching my son's soccer team. Howz about a Sunday drive?

Just bumping this to see if there is any more interest in a Southern California meet.

Thumbs up Count us In...

Hi Friends.....

Count us in. We could make the trip and maybe see Disneyland. Keep us on the list and let us know how we can help you.

And here is something cool to think of...

We used to put on small car shows and fun runs. One thing we did that was neat was giving a small "dash plaque" to each entry.

Where? I'd love to check out the 4WD capability of the Pilot. The only thing I can think of is way out in the desert.

Count me in. I'll have to make time for this. Not sure if I can convince the wife to go. Every time I point out another Pilot to her, she replies with "hey, there's a blue car."

I'll attend. Sundays work best for me. I see quite a few Pilots during my commute, but I'm not sure how many of them are registered on this board. To get good attendance, we should invite some of the SoCal MDX folks and make it a Pilot/MDX gathering.

So, how about Oct. 12? We will be in Lakewood and it will definitely be a great experience for us to meet our fellow piloteers.

Oct 12 won't work for me as my wife wouldn't be too happy if I told her our anniversary will be spent talking about cars. She's not the least bit interested. But don't change the date on my account, if it works for most others than go for it. Besides, maybe I can sneak off for a little while...
