It's in LA and Orange Counties a few weekends this month/next month. I plan to be at the El Toro Marine base event representing SafeKids. I'm not sure if I'll be at a booth or assisting with the child safety equiptment for the demos (which I'd prefer to do), but if anyone is going come say hi!
A member on the Odyssey group went to an event in Texas and really enjoyed himself. There's vehicles from non-GM makes to "compare" to. The dates are as follows: Pomona: January 20-23 Irvine (El Toro Marine Base): January 20-23 Inglewood: February 10-13 Info can be found here Just a heads up! Michelle |

I went to the GM show back in fall 2003, and that's where I first test drove the Pilot (and of course I subsequently bought one.)
I guess GM's marketing ploy backfired in my case! I also got to drive a Hummer, a Vette and tons of other cars. Very fun.

"GM" and "motion"...that's a good one!
Kidding aside, I think that it is great to see an empahsis on safety during an event like this. I still see knuckleheads around the city that I work in holding their children on their lap or permitting them to run loose in the back seat...at least their cars tend to have nice rims and stereos. Where's a cop when you need one?
