Question Sprint PCS in SoCal

Any opinions on Sprint cell phone service in the greater L.A. area? I live in the beach cities so I'm interested in service from LAX south to San Pedro. Lemme know if you have an opinion.

I had Sprint before switching to Verizon. I think Verizon has better and more coverage.

I left Sprint PCS because their customer service was the absolute worst!!!

I'm now with AT&T/Cingular and for the last year --- it's been awesome... and their prices are better than Sprint.

I had Sprint when I was in San Diego. It worked just about everywhere. Their phone customer service was terrible, but the stores that are scattered about, have very good customer service.

Don't kid your self on version customer serivce, I tried them for hours last weekend to never get ahold of anybody. As for Verizon, they have better service in large metro areas, their "country" service stinks. Anything less then 2 bars on the phone is worthless.

Either way in LA you should have great coverage with any service provider, just go with the best for customer service.

I've had Sprint for about a month and it has been great. No dropped calls, service everywhere and customer service has been great, thus far.
