Door Reflectors for the Pilot - Honda Pilot

Increase night time visibility when you open the doors to your Pilot. On the front doors, there is a light in the door panel. When you open the front door, the door panel light automatically comes on, which is visible to other motorist and alerts them of a potential road hazard. But on the second row doors, there is nothing. This is a potential road hazard and safety issue. The key to safety on the road is being able to be seen by other motorist during the day and at night. These reflectors are the solution. The front door reflector is a 2” x 2” square applied to the corner of the door. The reflector for the second row door is a 1 ¾” diameter circle. Just peel and stick. Set of four reflectors is $4 and free shipping to members. Supply is limited. If you are interested, send me a PM or email.

Here is a picture taken at night of the front door. Check out the brightness of the reflector compared to the light in the door panel.

I finally had a chance to install the reflectors I received earlier this week.

I am in the Air Force and they have reflective tape on eveyrthing. I am going to get some and install it. Its black. I will put pics up when I do.

I was at Advance Auto today and they had rolls of reflective tape in different colors. I looked at the black tape which reflects white. Don't know if the other colors reflect white too.

Not all reflective tape is the same. Make sure it is retroreflective. That is the best type.

Isn`t better if the door reflectors are located atleast a lot higher , so that it is closer to eye level of the motorist coming from behind?

most headlight cutoffs would be below that height, so it wouldnt reflect much of anything if they were that high. that's also probably a reason they put reflectors in the rear bumpers of the 06's...some cars arent high enough to hit the reflectors in the tail lamps.

Since the sticker is made up of RETROFLECTION technology do you think
the bumper height idea is now irrelevant? sINCE retroflection has a wider angle of reflection, means all angles are reflected the same intensity. The headlight beam idea seems not right since headlight widens the farther it gets - 12 inches away from the headlight the light is already widens.

So with retroflection sticker + eyelevel sticker location do you think this maximized the use of this reflector?

PLus placing the reflector higher means you are placing it to the farthest part of the door when it is fully opened- specially a lot better on the rear door . check the pic above...and also below
