For Sale: Stock Stereo from 2006 Pilot EX (6 Disc Changer)

Hello everyone,

I am trying to sell the stock stereo from my 2006 Pilot EX. This is the stereo that many of us had in our Pilots the day we drove them home from the dealer. It has the 6 disc changer and XM capabilities. The stereo worked fine prior to me removing it to upgrade to a touch screen DVD system. This is perfect for anyone who is wanting to sell their Pilot, but doesn't want to sell their upgraded system.

I am not looking to get rich off this deal. I will take $50 obo plus any shipping charges.

Do you know if this will fit a 2004 exl? If it will, I would like to buy it.

I don't think it will fit the 04 models as their dash layout is a bit different. Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. I have been very busy with work and family stuff.

I dont have a night time picture. I already pulled the stereo out of the car. The picture with the stereo in the dash was when I first bought the Pilot.

Do you remember what color the backlighting was ? Was it green? I am interested if so.

I just bought this kind from a guy from ebay a couple weeks ago and waiting to arrived. If I have know ahead this is much affordable price.




I will post again when I am done with my upgrade. I am also waiting for the attachment unit (MP3 bezel trim) that I ordered from BernardiHonda.

Let me do some searching on the back light color. I think it was green. I will look at the other colors especially near the climate controls. Sorry I don't have a definite answer for you

I found this photo online. This is what I remember the back light color looking like. It does have a greenish tint.

03-05 dash is flatter than the 06-08. While the unit might fit, it won't match the rest of the dash

So the HU arrived the other day and was a bit disappointed because the width is more than 1/4inch.



I hope I could find a center panel for this HU coz I want to maintain the original dash as much as possible. Any ideas where I could search for one? Otherwise I might re-sell this HU and forget about upgrading using an OEM radio.
