Default FS: Cat-Back Dual Exhaust System for Honda Pilot / Acura MDX !

Hello fellow Pilot owners:

I have sold my 02 MDX and therefore is looking for a good home for this CAT-BACK Dual Exhaust System which is a direct bolt-on for Honda Pilot 03-06 and MDX 01-03 (would work with MDX 04-06 as well with minor mods).

This is a complete CAT-BACK system, a direct replacement for your factory exhaust system from Catalytic Converter and back, with no Cutting or Welding needed!

It means you can uninstall your factory exhaust system, leave it in storage, then re-install it before you sell your Pilot. You can then sell this setup to your fellow MDX/Pilot and recover most of your investment!

This custom system includes:
1. Two Magnaflow Stainless Steel Mufflers with dual tips.

2. Custom equal-flow Y-pipe
3. Honda/Acura factory resonator
4. Honda/Acura factory mid pipe
5. Custom hangers and all the accessories.

This setup was used for 3 months, before I took it off and trade-in my MDX for another SUV last year. Like new condition!

It's BIG so I prefer to deal locally. I am in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
I can probably deliver it to you if we can meet half way, if you are in lower mainland BC or Washington State.

I spent over $1000 CDN to build this system, and is looking to recover
$690 CDN or $500 USD. obo.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! My e-mail is KC955@shaw.ca , my name is Kevin

That a nice looking system at a very good price. how does it sound. I would like to have it, but don't know how you would get it to Oklahoma.

I guess the logistics of getting it to you would be a huge challenge !

The look and sound are the two things I missed the most. I got many praises from fellow car enthusiasts.
At idle it has a nice low rumble and at higher rpm it turns from V8-like sound to the typical Japanese V6 but more throaty than stock. The pick-up in the pitch is very linear.

I'm not planning any trips to BC anytime soon, but I wonder how this would fit with the trailer hitch. Got any pics of it installed?

I wouldn't mind to drive 100 miles or so to meet up
with fellow Pilot/MDX owners who wants to take advantage of this setup.

I didn't have the trailer hitch installed but the Magnaflow muffler on the right side of this setup is situated in the same location of the factory muffler. Since it's a symmetrical setup, the trailer hitch that works with factory muffler should work with this. However, I can't guarantee this.

I had many nice photos with this setup on my car. Unfortunately, the reason I didn't post them is because I have lost them all. My hard drive crashed after I took this setup off and traded in the car...
If I had just one of those photos this setup should have been sold already...

The price is lowered to
$490 CDN or $400 USD

I am just hoping to find a good home for this one-of-a-kind setup.
I was asked to provide a sound clip. Although I don't have any,
I found this one on YouTube that's very similar to the setup I am selling. On my 3.5L V6 it did sound a bit deeper.

If anything, I bet it "sounded" faster.

Too bad your computer crashed. Some pics would have been nice.

If it helps with shipping, you could cut it into 3 pieces and the buyer can have it welded back together.

Default Exhaust

Hi there,
I was wondering if you still had your dual exhaust for sale. I have an 03 MDX and was wondering if it would fit on my car with no modifications. I live in Victoria B.C.
Let me know if it is still available.
Thanks,
Cliff

You do realize that this thread is almost 4 years old. The guy has most likely sold it or scrapped it.
