Question 05 NAV system keeps rebooting

To be fair, this is a plea for help as my followups to previous posters went unheeded and I'm near the end of my rope.

I like others, find my 05 Pilot NAV system rebooting as before. I have reset the battery cable, later tried the three buttons on the keypad to get it to the diagnostic mode. I believe I have successfully forced the download of the software per the linked post above. However, I did not get any acknowledgement sound. Restarting the ignition showed no difference as the system rebooted two seconds after the setup screen nor did it ask for the Radio reset code.

My query is that the linked poster suggests I can force restart by shorting the two wires that are unattached in the plug in the back of the unit. The photo attached shows the back of my unit and I have pulled each plug out and do not see any unattached wires. What am I not seeing and what should I try next? thanx, sam

I think that there are two pins in one of the harnesses that don't have wires which would have to be shorted together, not the wires. I saw a diagram somewhere, but don't remember where.
